Percepción y conocimiento sobre el blanqueamiento dental durante las prácticas clínicas de sexto a décimo semestre desde un enfoque estético.

The objective of this project is to analyze the perception and knowledge of dental students about tooth whitening. It has been observed that students, being at different levels of training, may have different degrees of knowledge about the methods and effects of dental whitening, which may impact their future professional practice. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with a sample of 131 students, who met the selection criteria. The information was collected by means of structured surveys that addressed sociodemographic aspects, perception of dental whitening and knowledge about it. Of the participants, 67.18% identified themselves as female and 36.64% were in their eighth semester. In terms of perception, a favorable attitude towards teeth whitening was observed in all semesters and ages, with no significant differences by sex. The students consider in-office whitening to be the most effective method, especially in the last semesters. In addition, 63.83% of the students from ninth to tenth semester estimate that the duration of dental whitening is from 6 months to 1 year. Regarding the sources of information, more than 50% of the students consult multiple sources, with a greater use of scientific articles and expert opinions.

We were in a new broadcast of “It's Monday and CRAI USTA knows it”, where we talked about disruptive education and how it is transforming higher education. We reviewed Pearson's article on this topic and discussed methodologies such as design thinking and adaptive learning. We interviewed Prof. Fabio Castillejo, who told us about his experience teaching basic sciences in an innovative way. We also shared events such as the Gabo Festival and the Marketing Forum, where music and ideas flowed with rhythm and reflection!

Climate change, driven by human activity, is impacting Colombia through phenomena such as glacier retreat and rising temperatures. In response, the 2015 Paris Agreement aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development. In Colombia, climate commitments are gradually integrated into public policies, particularly in public procurement, a key sector in energy consumption and CO2 emissions. This article explores how eligibility requirements in public procurement can align with global sustainability goals and the Paris Agreement.

Formulación de proyecto en fase perfil con metodología marco lógico para elaboración de diseños de calle de salida rápida en el aeropuerto El Dorado

The present work aimed to address the problem evident in the aeronautical and airport industry in Colombia, since, at the El Dorado international airport since approximately 2019, a quick exit road has not been designed or built on the air side of the airport, which has led to non-compliance in environmental issues such as carbon footprint, service levels, thus affecting the budget of airlines and of course passengers, as well as their comfort; In this sense, the general objective was proposed to “Formulate a project in the profile phase with the Logical Framework Methodology, for the design of a quick exit street for the north runway of El Dorado Airport, which guides the decision-making of the stakeholders or interested.” As a method, it was proposed to formulate a project through the logical framework methodology through the collection of information, definition of the strategy and an ex-ante evaluation, allowing to obtain as the main result a solution that guarantees compliance with indicators, improvements in the service; reduction in taxiing times, reduction in runway occupation times, a solution in which the majority of stakeholders can participate or participate in its search or achievement
