Abstract

Dentro de la investigación, se tuvo un objetivo general y tres específicos, que relaciono a continuación: Objetivo general: Determinar estrategias para el uso eficiente de los recursos naturales, mediante la implementación de las BPPA en el fortalecimiento del proceso productivo de la tilapia roja (Oreochromis sp.) para los asociados de PROPEZ en el municipio de Cocorná. Objetivos específicos: Levantar una línea base para evidenciar la situación actual del proceso productivo con el fin de establecer las principales necesidades. Identificar acciones de gestión ambiental y BPPA que permitan mejorar los procesos productivos implementados por la asociación. Plantear estrategias de intervención de corto, mediano y largo plazo, basadas en las BPPA y la gestión eficiente de los recursos naturales. Como conclusiones están las siguientes: El trabajo de campo realizado evidenció el deficiente manejo de registros, el cual es una característica común entre los productores visitados. Muchos manifiestan tenerlos, pero no los usan o no saben leerlos; desarrollan las actividades basados, no en conocimientos tecnicos, sino en la práctica aprendida por trasmision oral; En el medio, se encuentran disponibles y al alcance de los productores de PROPEZ, guías, manuales, cartillas y suficiente literatura que les permiten identificar las buenas prácticas y la gestión ambiental que buscan hacer de la piscicultura una actividad más amigable con el medio ambiente.

Abstract

Within the research, there was a general objective and three specific ones, which I relate below: General purpose:To determine strategies for the efficient use of the natural resources, through the implementation of the BPPA in the strengthening of the productive process of the red tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) for the associates of PROPEZ in the municipality of Cocorná. Specific purposes:To raise a baseline to demonstrate the current situation of the productive process in order to establish the principal needs .To identify environmental management actions and BPPA that allow to improve the productive processes implemented by the association. To raise short, medium and long term intervention strategies, based on BPPA and the efficient management of natural resources. As conclusions, we have the following ones:The fieldwork carried out evidenced the deficient management of records, which is a common feature among the visited producers. Many claim to have them, but they do not use them or can not read them; they develop the activities based, not on technical knowledge, but on the practice learned by oral transmission. In the area, they are available and within reach of the producers of PROPEZ, guides, manuals, booklets and sufficient literature that allow them to identify the good practices and the environmental management that seek to make of the pisciculture a more friendly activity with the environment.
