    Abstract

    Este artículo de revisión corresponde a la definición y relación que existe entre memoria e historia, contemplando los postulados de varios autores que  comprenden los lugares en los que se ha inscrito la memoria y el reconocimiento de las características de la memoria individual y colectiva. La memoria ha sido un eje de trabajo que propende por el cambio social y la construcción de la memoria histórica, así como a la apropiación conceptual y pragmática de una historia de las memorias, pues es necesario que la educación dignifique identidades y afiance esfuerzos de conocimiento sobre los reales acontecimientos que han trascurrido a lo largo de la historia.
