Abstract
Contenido: El análisis bibliométrico es un instrumento fundamental que permite valorar la dinámica científica para la obtención del conocimiento y el impacto de una investigación, identificar las tendencias y el incremento del conocimiento en un tema en específico.
Metodología: Es un estudio bibliométrico, el cual se encuentra dentro de la categoría tipo A de fuente terciaria, puesto que para la realización de este se estaría utilizando como material de información las guías físicas o virtuales que contengan información del estudio.
Resultados: La tendencia de investigación está liderada por las revistas British Journal of Cáncer, Head and Neck, International Journal of Cáncer, Journal of Clinical. Se encontraron estudios transversales en un 42 % de la muestra, seguido de casos y controles que representaría un 22 %. Se observa que el país con mayor colaboración es Estados Unidos correspondiendo con 39 publicaciones en red, así mismo lidera las investigaciones realizadas en esta temática, con 62 publicaciones, seguido de Italia y España. Cabe resaltar que Estados Unidos evidencia 39 publicaciones en redes con diferentes países y 2 de ellas son realizadas con Colombia. También se evidencia que el VPH tipo 16 se menciona en 99 publicaciones de los artículos relacionadas con cáncer bucal, así mismo se menciona en menor número de publicaciones el virus VPH sub tipo 18.
Abstract
Content: The bibliometric analysis is a fundamental instrument that allows to assess the scientific dynamics to obtain knowledge and impact of a research, identify trends and increase knowledge in a specific topic. Methodology: It is a bibliometric study, which is within the category A of tertiary source, since for the realization of this would be used as information material physical or virtual guides containing information from the study. Results: The research trend is led by the British Journal of Cancer, Head and Neck, International Journal of Cancer, Journal of Clinical. Cross-sectional studies were found in 42 % of the sample, followed by cases and controls that would represent 22 %. It is observed that the country with the greatest collaboration is the United States, with 39 publications in the network, and it also leads the research carried out in this field, with 62 publications, followed by Italy and Spain. It should be noted that the United States shower 39 publications in networks with different countries and 2 of them are made with Colombia. It is also evident that HPV type 16 is mentioned in 99 publications of the articles related to oral cancer, likewise the HPV sub type 18 virus is mentioned in fewer publications.
