Técnica cirugía preprotésica alargamiento de corona clínica: una revisión sistemática desde 1990 – 2016

Abstract
Objetivo: Realizar una revisión sistemática recopilando información sobre las técnicas de alargamiento de corona clínica: gingivectomía y colgajo con reposición apical, con el fin de describir, identificar, y unificar parámetros clínicos. Metodología:Se realizó una investigación secundaria, por medio de una revisión sistemática, que evaluó únicamente reportes de caso y series de casos, sintetizando los resultados de cada estudio. Resultados: Se utilizaron tres bases de datos; pubmed, Dentistry & Oral Science Source y Scopus; al finalizar la selección de artículos se incluyeron en la revisión sistemática 10 artículos de los cuales 4 describen la técnica de gingivectomia y los 6 restantes describen la técnica de colgajo con reposición apical.Conclusiones: Los artículos incluidos en la revisión permitieron recopilar información relevante para la descripción de las técnicas de alargamiento coronal y dejar abierta la oportunidad de crear una guía de manejo clínico para la cirugía de alargamiento coronal con fines preprotésicos.
Abstract
Objective: To carry out a systematic review gathering information on clinical crown lengthening techniques: gingivectomy and flap with apical replacement, in order to describe, identify, and unify clinical parameters. Methodology: A secondary investigation was carried out, through a systematic review, which evaluated only case reports and case series, synthesizing the results of each study. Results: Three databases were used; pubmed, Dentistry & Oral Science Source and Scopus; At the end of the selection of articles, 10 articles were included in the systematic review, 4 of which described the gingivectomy technique and the remaining 6 described the flap technique with apical replacement. Conclusions: The articles included in the review allowed the collection of relevant information description of coronal lengthening techniques and leave open the opportunity to create a clinical management guide for coronal lengthening surgery for pre-prosthetic purposes.
