Abstract
La inauguración del nuevo terminal de transportes de pasajeros en Duitama conllevo varias consecuencias negativas en el sector de la antigua ubicación (barrio centro) del terminal, lo que genero mayor inseguridad y una notable reducción del comercio en el sector; por consiguiente a través de la propuesta y diseño de la renovación urbana del sector del antiguo terminal de transporte terrestre de pasajeros de Duitama lo que se busca ante todo es a dar a conocer la extensa historia que posee Duitama con relación al transporte intermunicipal de pasajeros y el mejoramiento del sector a través de una reactivación económica mediante los equipamientos propuestos además de una intervención urbana que abarcará barrios como La Milagrosa y el Centro .
Abstract
The inauguration of the new passenger terminal of transport in Duitama entails several negative consequences in the sector of the old location (downtown district) of the terminal, which generates greater insecurity and a notable reduction in trade in the sector; With regard to the proposal and design of the urban renovation of the sector of the former passenger land transport terminal of Duitama, what is sought above all is to make known the extensive history that Duitama has in relation to intermunicipal transport of passengers and the improvement of the sector through an economic recovery through the proposed equipment in addition to an urban intervention that will cover neighborhoods such as the Milagrosa and the Center.
