Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como propósito determinar las características del entorno del Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga influyentes en la creación de empresas y el fomento empresarial, para lo cual se identifican las estrategias institucionales que promueven el fortalecimiento del tejido empresarial y se realiza un análisis sobre la dinámica empresarial a nivel local para contrastarla con la situación del contexto departamental y nacional. Como principales hallazgos se encuentra en Santander y el Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga un entorno favorable para el emprendimiento en materia de innovación, tecnología, y características del mercado, sin embargo, con algunos aspectos por mejorar en infraestructura y educación superior para el talento humano que se necesita.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the characteristics of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area environment that influence business creation and business development, for which the institutional strategies that promote the strengthening of the business fabric are identified and an analysis is carried out on the dynamics business at the local level to contrast it with the situation of the departmental and national context. The main findings are in Santander and the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area a favorable environment for entrepreneurship in terms of innovation, technology, and market characteristics, however, with some aspects to improve infrastructure and higher education for human talent that needs to.
