Abstract
El municipio de Sesquilé está ubicado en el departamento de
Cundinamarca, en la cordillera central de Colombia, en la
región Cundiboyacense en la que habitaron y habitan la mayor cantidad
de grupos muisca-chibcha. Sesquilé está en la Sabana norte, vía Tunja;
se ubica a una distancia aproximada de 63 Km de Bogotá y a una
altitud sobre el nivel del mar de 2.594 metros. Se siente en el ambiente
un frío sabanero, una brisa con agua, donde pareciera que el viento
emergiera del interior de una cueva o en la cima de una montaña.
