Lineamientos para la formulación de un proyecto de regeneración urbana en el Paseo del Comercio del Centro de Bucaramanga

Abstract
Para Abordar los lineamientos de regeneración urbana de la calle 35 entre carrera 12 a 19 del barrio centro de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, se tuvieron en cuenta dos referentes teóricos como Rem Koolhaas y Jan Gehl, autores de los libros la ciudad genérica y ciudades para la gente, respectivamente.
A partir de estos autores se sintetizaron las ideas más importantes que permitieron contextualizar indicadores como: la dimensión humana y la escala destruida; complementando el análisis multinivel, es decir de la carrera 12 a la 19, para consolidar la caracterización general; definiendo, a partir de esta, una cuadra o tramo para la propuesta de intervención.
Teniendo en cuenta que este proyecto fue parte de un trabajo investigativo en equipo, cada integrante de acuerdo con la caracterización y las carencias de los tramos analizados y diferenciados, se plantean acciones diferentes por tramo elegido para plantear un ejemplo de regeneración por etapas.
De esta forma, se proponen tres niveles de regeneración urbana a corto, mediano y largo plazo; se pretende observar el espacio público que cuenta con mayores conflictos y por lo cual se selecciona el tramo que se encuentra presente en la calle 35 entre carrera 14 y 15. Con el fin de generar un cambio de modelo que permita recuperar la función principal y su condición de espacio público, promoviendo un ambiente sano, seguro, vital y sostenible para un desarrollo integro de la ciudad.
Abstract
In order to approach the urban regeneration guidelines of 35th Street between road 12 and 19 of Bucaramanga city neighborhood “Centro”, two theoretical references were taken into account, such as Rem Koolhaas and Jan Gehl, author of the books The Generic City and Cities for People, respectively.
From these authors, the most important ideas were synthesized, which allow to contextualize indicators such as: human dimension and destroyed scale; allowing to complement the multilevel analysis, namely: analysis of the city, the area, the axis and sections or blocks.
Furthermore, a study of each one of the indicators from the total axis were made, from 12 to 19 road to consolidate a general characterization, defining from this one a block or a section to apply the intervention proposal.
Considering that this project was part of a group research project, each member applies different actions according to the characteristics including lacks the analyzed and differentiated sections, different actions were proposed in order to present a regeneration example by phases.
In this way, three regeneration levels are proposed in short, medium and long term, the intention is to select the public space that shows the highest troubles and that is why the Street 35th between 14th and 15th avenue is chosen. In order to generate a model change that allows the main function and its conditions as a public space to be recovered, promoting a healthy, safe, vital and sustainable city for the full development of Bucaramanga’s society.
