Abstract
Como ejercicio de reconocimiento y construcción de un alfabeto, se hacen
búsquedas en entornos abiertos, se construyen los sistemas con un número
de formas geométricas limitadas y se explora la propia caligrafía como
aporte para ello. Sin embargo, existen otras maneras de ejercitar esta clase de
procesos, nos referimos a la propuesta de Heller e Illic (2004), quienes, en un
deseo por reivindicar el diseño a mano, sugieren ocho caminos para diseñar y
ver las letras desde otra perspectiva; de ahí que estas expresiones se conozcan
como parte de un movimiento antitipográfico. Enseguida, se sintetizan las
características de estas posibilidades, que se convierten en un proceso valioso
de reflexión y creación.
