Después de haber realizado un
estudio en Colombia durante el mes
de septiembre del 2001, el Congreso
Nacional de Riesgos Profesionales
arrojó que las lesiones músculoesqueléticas relacionadas con el
trabajo constituyen el 44.6 %, siendo
las que más implicaciones para la
salud de los trabajadores generaron.
Los factores que más ocasionaron este
tipo de lesiones fueron: el mantener el
cuerpo por mucho tiempo en la misma
postura, la ejecución repetitiva de
movimientos y el incorrecto manejo de
las cargas físicas de trabajo.
