Abstract
Convocado por Juan XXIII el Concilio Vaticano II marca en la historia de la Iglesia una época de renovación, un aggiornamento que despierta el deseo de abrirse al mundo y ser fiel al evangelio. Haciendo énfasis en la constitución dogmática Lumen Gentium y la constitución pastoral Gaudium et Spes, el presente trabajo hace un recorrido por las concepciones eclesiológicas que de ellas emergen: la Iglesia como misterio/sacramento, la Iglesia Pueblo de Dios, la Iglesia comunión, la Iglesia Cuerpo de Cristo, su carácter universal y misionero que busca responder a los desafìos del mundo y del hombre moderno, escrutando los signos de los tiempos y llevando siempre un renovado mensaje de esperanza que desde el servicio busca rescatar la dignidad del ser humano convirtiéndolo en un agente transformador de la realidad teniendo en cuenta valores como la justicia, la verdad, la igualdad y la promoción del bien común. En este recorrido, nos dejaremos iluminar de los aportes de teólogos presentes durante el desarrollo del Concilio Vaticano II como son: Yves Congar y Henri De Lubac y de otros que han dedicado sus esfuerzos a estudiar estas comprensiones eclesiológicas como son Salvador Pié-Ninot y Victor Codina.
Abstract
Convened by John XXIII, the Second Vatican Council marks in history an epoch of renewal, an aggiornamento that awakens the desire for the Church to be open to the world and faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Emphasizing the dogmatic constitution Lumen Gentium and the pastoral constitution Gaudium et Spes, the present work makes a journey through the ecclesiological conceptions that emerge from them: The Church as mystery/sacrament, the Church as People of God, the Church as communion, the Church as Body of Christ, its universal and missionary character which seeks to respond to the challenges of the world and of modern man, scrutinizing the signs of the times and always carrying a renewed message of hope which, through service, seeks to rescue the dignity of the human being, turning it into a transforming agent of reality, considering values such as justice, truth, equality and the promotion of the common good. In this journey, we will allow ourselves to be enlightened by the contributions of theologians present during the development of the Second Vatican Council, such as: Yves Congar and Henri De Lubac, and others who have dedicated their efforts to study these ecclesiological understandings, such as Salvador Pié-Ninot and Victor Codina.
