Abstract
Este proyecto tiene como propósito brindar mejoras en los procesos que se llevan
a cabo en el sistema de suministro interno de medicamentos e insumos en el
Hospital Santa Matilde del municipio de Madrid Cundinamarca, haciendo uso de
técnicas de ingeniería y Herramientas Lean con fin de encontrar soluciones a los
desperdicios que se encuentran actualmente en el sistema. Para comprender los
procesos (selección, adquisición, recepción, y distribución) de medicamentos e
insumos de una manera adecuada se caracterizan mediante diagramas de flujo
obteniendo una descripción detallada de las actividades, así mismo mediante
información del software CNT del hospital (KARDEX) se realiza un análisis tipo
inventario ABC. Variables como tiempos, movimientos y costos son necesarias para
el desarrollo del diagrama VSM y Kanban identificando problemas en los altos
tiempos de entrega de medicamentos e insumos debido a la falta de trazabilidad,
distribución y clasificación de estos en el área de almacenamiento. Se realizan
propuestas de mejoras mediante la Herramienta Lean 5´S para lograr disminuir
aquellas variables críticas del sistema, a su vez una técnica de pronóstico de
demanda que contribuirá a evitar riesgos en el Lead Time para reabastecimiento
por parte del almacén.
Abstract
The purpose of this project is to provide improvements in the processes carried out
in the internal supply system of medicines and supplies at the Santa Matilde Hospital
in the municipality of Madrid Cundinamarca, making use of engineering techniques
and Lean Tools in order to find solutions to the wastes that are currently in the
system. To understand the processes (selection, acquisition, reception, and
distribution) of medicines and supplies in an adequate way, they are characterized
by flow diagrams obtaining a detailed description of the activities, as well as
information from the hospital's CNT software (KARDEX). an ABC inventory analysis.
Variables such as times, movements and costs are necessary for the development
of the VSM and Kanban diagram, identifying problems in the high delivery times of
medicines and supplies due to the lack of traceability, distribution and classification
of these in the storage area. Proposals for improvements are made using the Lean
5's Tool to reduce critical system variables, in turn, a demand forecasting technique
that will help avoid risks in the Lead Time for replenishment by the warehouse.
