Abstract
La agricultura urbana es la práctica de cultivar plantas dentro del área metropolitana, es una manera de garantizar el consumo de alimentos sin la utilización de químicos, permite la generación de ingresos y el autoconsumo de víveres frescos en los hogares.
Las personas que la practican en ocasiones se asocian, estableciendo relaciones sociales para el intercambio de conocimientos y saberes tradicionales, ellos conforman un tejido social que favorece la generación de diferentes formas de organización social.
Abstract
Urban agriculture is the practice of growing plants within the metropolitan area, it is a way of guaranteeing food consumption without the use of chemicals, it allows the generation of income and the self-consumption of fresh food at home.
The people who practice it sometimes form associations, establishing social relationships for the exchange of knowledge and traditional knowledge, they form a social fabric that favors the generation of different forms of social organization.
