dc.descriptionFilm industries played an important role in the construction of reality. The discourses, means, and strategies used for the development of conflicts respond to dynamics and facilities of their corresponding moment. This article uses an eclectic view to understand how the securitization of cinema influenced the construction of the collective imaginary in the face of international relations of the twentieth century. Accordingly, it is by means of using data collection tools and hermeneutic and interpretative views that the behavior of actors related to war and hostilities, legitimization, propaganda, and the seventh art are analyzed.en-US
dc.descriptionLas industrias cinematográficas desempeñaron un papel importante en la construcción de la realidad. Los discursos, medios y estrategias utilizados para el desarrollo de los conflictos responden a dinámicas y facilidades de su momento correspondiente. El presente artículo se vale de una visión ecléctica para comprender cómo la securitización del cine influyó en la construcción del imaginario colectivo frente a las relaciones internacionales del siglo XX. En concordancia, es mediante el uso de herramientas de recolección de datos y visones hermenéuticas e interpretativas como se analiza el comportamiento de los actores frente a la guerra y las hostilidades, la legitimación, la propaganda y el séptimo arte.es-ES
