Abstract
La biblioteca pública representa un equipamiento social y cultural para la comunidad, el cual busca fomentar y brindar herramientas que permitan a las personas el acceso a la información, por medio de espacios de conocimiento que den lugar a la interacción y el aprendizaje. Para tal fin se presenta el proyecto de una biblioteca pública para el municipio de San Gil, en la cual se proyecta un diseño con las pautas necesarias para un equipamiento educativo, para dar apoyo a las instituciones del sector, teniendo como lineamientos el confort, la interacción social y sensaciones del usuario dentro de los espacios, en conjunto con las tecnologías actuales, para lograr un objeto arquitectónico que satisfaga las necesidades educativas y culturales del municipio.
Abstract
The public library represents a social and cultural facility for the community, which seeks to promote and provide tools that allow people access to information, through knowledge spaces that give rise to interaction and learning. To this end, the project of a public library for the municipality of San Gil is presented, in which a design is projected with the necessary guidelines for an educational facility, to support the institutions of the sector, having as guidelines the comfort, social interaction and sensations of the user within the spaces, in conjunction with current technologies, to achieve an architectural object that meets the educational and cultural needs of the municipality.
