Abstract
Se implementa un bicicarril con reducción de carril en el barrio cuidad Porfía sobre la carrera 43 desde la calle 50 sur hasta la calle 53 sur, donde se lleva a cabo un análisis vehicular, previo y posterior, en términos de velocidad y capacidad, siguiendo la metodología adoptada por el Instituto Nacional de Vías (INVIAS) para el territorio colombiano. Se presentan resultados positivos en cuanto a seguridad y eficiencia para los usuarios de bicicleta, sin embargo, debido a las patologías existentes en la zona, se establecen condiciones esenciales para continuar con la implementación de este tipo de estructuras con el objetivo de mitigar el impacto en el flujo vehicular del corredor e intersección.
Abstract
A bicycle lane with lane reduction is implemented in the Porfía neighborhood on Carrera 43 from Calle 50 Sur to Calle 53 Sur, where a prior and subsequent vehicle analysis is carried out in terms of speed and capacity, following the methodology adopted by INVIAS for the Colombian territory. Positive results are presented in terms of safety and efficiency for bicycle users, however, due to existing pathologies in the area, essential conditions are established to continue with the implementation of this type of structures with the aim of mitigating the impact on the vehicular flow of the corridor and intersection.
