Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación, tiene como objetivo identificar las herramientas TIC que pueden mejorar el aprendizaje del vocabulario, la comprensión auditiva y la pronunciación del inglés en estudiantes del grado tercero del Colegio Nuevo Liceo Grancolombiano de Facatativá, Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se utilizó un diseño de investigación experimental pretest-postest con grupo de control. En el cual se seleccionó un grupo de estudiantes de grado tercero de primaria, se dividió aleatoriamente en dos grupos: el grupo experimental que recibirá la intervención con las herramientas TIC y el grupo control que no recibió la intervención. Se aplicó una prueba antes y después de la intervención a ambos grupos para evaluar la efectividad de las herramientas TIC. Además, se realizaron entrevistas y encuestas a los docentes para identificar las estrategias de enseñanza adecuadas. Los datos recolectados se analizaron mediante análisis estadísticos y se presentaron en tablas y gráficos. Los resultados se interpretaron para evaluar la efectividad de las herramientas TIC y se compararán con el grupo control. En base a los resultados obtenidos, se elaboró una conclusión y se realizaron recomendaciones para la implementación de herramientas TIC en la enseñanza del inglés en la institución
Abstract
The present research work aims to identify ICT tools that can improve vocabulary learning, listening comprehension and pronunciation of English in third grade students of the Nuevo Liceo Grancolombiano School of Facatativá, To carry out this research, a pretest-posttest experimental research design with control group was used. In which a group of third-grade primary school students was randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group that will receive the intervention with ICT tools and the control group that did not receive the intervention. A test before and after the intervention was applied to both groups to assess the effectiveness of ICT tools. In addition, interviews and surveys were conducted with teachers to identify appropriate teaching strategies. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis and presented in tables and graphs. The results were interpreted to assess the effectiveness of ICT tools and will be compared with the control group. Based on the results obtained, a conclusion was drawn and recommendations were made for the implementation of ICT tools in the teaching of English in the institution.
