Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia de la plataforma Uber X en la creación de empleo indirecto en el Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga entre los años 2014-2019. Para ello, en primer lugar se ofreció un panorama sobre la economía colaborativa a nivel internacional y nacional. Seguido a ello, se aplicó una encuesta a 61 conductores con el propósito
de percibir el nivel de satisfacción e ingresos que devengan las personas que laboran en la aplicación. Por último, se realizó un modelo se serie de tiempo aplicando la metodología BoxJenkins para pronosticar el número de socios conductores que ingresarán a la plataforma de Uber en los próximos meses. Los resultados obtenidos indican que con la entrada al mercado de este formato de economía colaborativa miles de ciudadanos han encontrado en la aplicación una forma de generar ingresos, lo cual es positivo para el mercado laboral en la ciudad de Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana.
Abstract
The present study aims to analyze the incidence of the Uber X platform in the creation of indirect employment in the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga between the years 2014-2019. To do so, firstly, a view on the collaborative economy at an international and national level was offered. Following this, a survey was applied to 61 drivers in order to perceive the level of satisfaction and income earned by the people working in the application. Finally, a time series model was made applying the Box-Jenkins methodology to forecast the number of driving partners that will enter the Uber platform in the next months. The results obtained indicate that with the entry into the market of this collaborative economy format, thousands of citizens have found in the application a way to generate income, which is positive for the labor market in the city of Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area.
