The Universidad Santo Tomás Bucaramanga campus and the Technological Units of Santander are developing entrepreneurship initiatives linked to social well-being, but they require tools that allow them to comprehensively characterize and measure the key dimensions of these initiatives. In response to this need, a model for measuring university entrepreneurship was developed based on regulatory and academic benchmarks, including the Subnational Entrepreneurship Index (ISE) and the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). The methodology comprised three stages: diagnosis; design of the model using dimensions, variables, and indicators; and implementation of a pilot test at both institutions. The instrument incorporated variables related to entrepreneurial intent and capabilities, institutional support, the development of initiatives, and their social impact. The results revealed a high level of entrepreneurial intent contrasted with lower actual participation in initiatives, as well as opportunities for strengthening training, mentoring, and funding. It is concluded that the model constitutes a diagnostic tool with the potential to support the monitoring and strengthening of university entrepreneurship and to raise the visibility of initiatives with social impact.application/pdfspaModelo de medición del emprendimiento en la Universidad Santo Tomás y Unidades Tecnológicas de Santander en Bucaramangabachelor thesisUniversity entrepreneurshipsocial welfaremeasurementinclusionsocial innovationentrepreneurshipAbierto (Texto Completo)info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cbEmprendimiento universitariobienestar socialmedicióninclusióninnovación socialemprendimientoreponame:Repositorio Institucional Universidad Santo Tomásinstname:Universidad Santo Tomásrepourl:https://repository.usta.edu.co
