Esta visión se alinea sorprendentemente con las corrientes psicológicas contemporáneas que promueven el desarrollo integral del ser humano, como las teorías de Maslow y Rogers. The author states that the thought of Thomas Aquinas, with its profound focus on the passions of the soul, continues to resonate even in our times, especially in modern humanistic psychology. In his treatise on the passions, Aquinas addresses emotions as essential forces that connect mind and body, integrating reason, spirituality, and humanity. This view aligns strikingly with contemporary psychological currents that promote the integral development of the human being, such as the theories of Maslow and Rogers.
