Universidad Santo Tomas. bogotáhttp://hdl.handle.net/11634/38317Tras la firma de los recientes Tratados de Libre Comercio (TLC) firmados por Colombia con México, Estados Unidos y la Unión Europea, es importante analizar la competitividad de los sectores relacionados con el comercio internacional de la región Centro y la región Cafetera, quienes en conjunto representan mas del 50%del PIB nacional. Por ello, a través de este trabajo, fue necesario identificar los sectores sensibles y potenciales de cada una de las regiones mediante las metodologías CAN-MAGIC y Competitividad Comercial Revelada (CCR) en el periodo 2008 al 2011, utilizando los datos a nivel sectorial según el Código Industrial Internacional Uniforme (CIIU) a 3 dígitos, por país y año. Los resultados muestran que los sectores potenciales para la región Centro están dados con el comercio bilateral con los Estados Unidos y los sectores sensibles de la región Cafetera se dan con la comercialización de producto con la Unión Europea.After the latest Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed by Colombia, Mexico, USA and the European Community, is important to analyze the competitiveness of sectors related to international trade in the region Central and the region Coffee, who together represent over 50% of national GDP. Therefore, as is showed into the present investigation, is necessary to identify the more sensible and potential sectors from each of the mentioned regions through the CEPAL-MAGIC and Commercial Competitiveness Revealed (CCR) during 2008-2011 time periods, using the sectorial data according to the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) at 3 digits level by country and year.
