El trabajo consistió en la revisión del Plan de gestión integral de residuos hospitalarios y similares (PGIRHS) de la E.S.E. y su posterior evaluación en la aplicación por el servicio de farmacia, para establecer por medio de la observación de campo y análisis documental las dificultades y deficiencias del procedimiento con el fin de formular el plan de mejoramiento correspondiente.The document consisted in the study of the integral management of hospital waste in the area of the pharmacy of the Social Enterprise of the State (ESE) Andrés Cala Pimentel of the municipality of Palmar Santander during the period 2018 to 2019.
