REVISTA INGENIO MAGNO ISSN digital 2422-2399, Volumen 14 No 1, año 2023.http://hdl.handle.net/11634/69741Se presenta la forma de estimar la pérdida de suelo en el municipio de Tibasosa, ubicado en el departamento de Boyacá, haciendo uso de la Ecuación Universal de la Pérdida de Suelo (USLE), mediante el software ArcGIS Pro. El estudio se basa en un enfoque de análisis multicriterio, donde se consideran variables fundamentales como la cantidad de precipitación, la inclinación del terreno, las características del suelo, la cobertura vegetal y las prácticas de uso del suelo. A partir de estos datos, se construyen mapas temáticos que permiten ubicar las zonas más afectadas por erosión, con el fin de proponer estrategias técnicas que favorezcan su conservación. Se busca contribuir a una gestión ambiental más eficiente y sostenible en beneficio de la comunidad y sus recursos naturales.The way to estimate land loss in the municipality of Tibasosa, located in the department of Boyacá, using the Universal Land Loss Equation (USLE), using ArcGIS Pro software. The study is based on a multi-criteria analysis approach, which considers fundamental variables such as rainfall quantity, terrain slope, soil characteristics, plant cover and land use practices. On the basis of this data, thematic maps are drawn up to locate the areas most affected by erosion in order to propose technical strategies for their conservation.
