Es así que ante el número elevado de lesionados y muertos cada año, la seguridad vial se ha convertido en un problema de Estado. Por esta razón, la sociedad colombiana como sus dirigentes, están preocupados por el aumento de la accidentalidad vial y tratan de buscar mecanismos para la reducción de la misma; por lo cual estos últimos han presentado iniciativas legislativas encaminadas a la educación, prevención, vigilancia e incluso hasta la sanción en dicho asunto. Y es que la siniestralidad vial, es considerada una actividad peligrosa y riesgosa, en la cual el Estado Colombiano debe actuar de manera inmediata y oportuna, iniciando diferentes acciones educativas, preventivas, de control e incluso de criminalización.The progress and / or growth of automotive manufacturing has implied many benefits for humanity and even a state of comfort, but the use of these has also become a risky activity for the life of human beings, their integrity and their goods.
