Repositorio Institucionalhttp://hdl.handle.net/11634/35280El gobierno universitario, el control y la transparencia son elementos importantes para la división orgánica y funcional de las universidades, para su desarrollo y el correcto cumplimiento de labores por sus funcionarios. Igualmente, es relevante tener en cuenta la posibilidad de que los directivos y administrativos dentro de las universidades actúen de forma no ética y e inmoral. A partir de esta problemática, se resuelve instaurar órganos de supervisión dentro de las mismas, que de forma mancomunada con el control interno, permita revisar las conductas inadecuadas de los funcionarios que puedan afectar el buen nombre y el desempeño del claustro universitario. Correspondiente a este ensayo, se tratará las figuras del rector, censor y el Revisor Fiscal; de igual forma se indaga sobre la importancia de órganos colegiados como el tribunal del honor en el desarrollo de un control adecuado de las funciones realizadas internamente en las universidades.University governance, control and transparency are important elements for the organic and functional division of universities, for their development and the correct fulfillment of tasks by their employees. It is also important to take into account the possibility that managers and administrators within universities may act unethically and immorally. Based on this problem, it is resolved to establish supervisory bodies within the same, which together with the internal control, allow to review the inappropriate conduct of officials that may affect the good name and performance of the university staff.
