Repositorio Institucional.http://hdl.handle.net/11634/68233Este proyecto de vivienda rural sostenible y productiva nace como respuesta a los retos sociales, ambientales y económicos del municipio de Frontino, ubicado en el occidente de Antioquia. La propuesta está enfocada en diseñar un modelo de vivienda rural que responda no solamente al déficit habitacional, sino que integre principios de sostenibilidad, aprovechamiento bioclimático y productividad agrícola, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de las familias y consolidar un tejido territorial. El proyecto tiene en cuenta las realidades sociales de Frontino cuando se habla de vivienda: es un territorio marcado por el conflicto armado, por desplazamientos forzados y por zonas de alto riesgo que han condicionado la manera en que las personas habitan y se relacionan con su entorno. También existe una necesidad urgente de ofrecer espacios funcionales y productivos que mejoren la calidad de vida de las familias y fortalezcan la economía local. Además, este modelo busca reactivar el turismo rural, integrando un sistema de economía circular, donde las viviendas no sean solo un lugar para habitar, sino también para producir, compartir y construir comunidad. Para lograrlo, es clave integrar técnicas y materiales propios del territorio, promoviendo así una arquitectura coherente con el contexto que, además, refuerce el tejido social en las zonas rurales.This sustainable and productive rural housing project was born in response to the social, environmental, and economic challenges of the municipality of Frontino, located in western Antioquia. The proposal focuses on designing a rural housing model that not only addresses the housing shortage but also integrates principles of sustainability, bioclimatic management, and agricultural productivity, with the goal of improving families' quality of life and consolidating a territorial fabric. The project takes into account the social realities of the municipality of Frontino when talking about housing: it is a territory marked by armed conflict, forced displacements and high-risk areas that have shaped the way people live and relate to their environment. There is also an urgent need to provide functional and productive spaces that improve the quality of life of families and strengthen the local economy. Furthermore, this model seeks to revive rural tourism by integrating a circular economy system, where homes are not just places to live, but also places to produce, share, and build community.
