El análisis explora la figura de María, no solo como madre de Dios y modelo de virtud según el Magisterio de la iglesia, sino también como un icono social de la mujer oprimida desde una óptica feminista. Se nombran puntos de divergencias, como la absolutización de la virginidad y la maternidad de María, que pueden limitar la identidad de otras mujeres. Finalmente, el ensayo propone una teología sinodal como puente integrador, capaz de articular y estructurar, los discursos emergentes feministas, su liderazgo en la iglesia y su reivindicación en los procesos sociales y culturales.The text addresses the relationship and tensions between Mariology and feminist theology, questioning whether they are opposing perspectives. The analysis explores the figure of Mary, not only as the mother of God and model of virtue according to the Magisterium, but also as a social icon of oppressed women from a feminist perspective. Points of divergence are identified, such as the absolutization of Mary's virginity and motherhood, which can limit the identity of other women.
