La investigación utilizó encuestas dirigidas tanto a deportistas como a sus familiares, con el objetivo de recopilar información sobre las condiciones actuales del recinto. Los resultados muestran que el estado de la infraestructura es inadecuado, con deficiencias que afectan la seguridad y la higiene, como la falta de iluminación, instalaciones sanitarias en mal estado, problemas de salubridad y ausencia de medidas de seguridad. Estos factores no solo dificultan el entrenamiento y el desarrollo de los deportistas, sino que también aumentan los riesgos para su integridad física y generan preocupación entre los padres. A partir de los hallazgos, este estudio plantea estrategias orientadas a la movilización y sensibilización de la comunidad, con el propósito de generar un esfuerzo colectivo que fomente la atención a estas necesidades por parte de las autoridades locales. Entre las propuestas, se destacan la organización de mesas de trabajo con la participación de representantes del gobierno local, la elaboración de solicitudes formales y el aprovechamiento de los medios de comunicación para visibilizar la situación. Se espera que estas acciones contribuyan a la mejora de las instalaciones y aseguren un ambiente más adecuado para la práctica del patinaje artístico en Facatativá, fortaleciendo el desarrollo del talento localThis study explores in depth the shortcomings and challenges faced by the figure skating community in Facatativá, Colombia, focusing on the poor infrastructure of the "Olympic Village", the main training space for this sport in the municipality. The research used surveys directed at both athletes and their families, with the aim of collecting information on the current conditions of the facility. The results show that the state of the infrastructure is inadequate, with deficiencies that affect safety and hygiene, such as lack of lighting, poorly maintained sanitary facilities, health problems and absence of security measures. These factors not only hinder the training and development of athletes, but also increase the risks to their physical integrity and generate concern among parents. Based on the findings, this study proposes strategies aimed at mobilizing and raising awareness in the community, with the purpose of generating a collective effort that encourages attention to these needs by local authorities. The proposals include the organization of working groups with the participation of local government representatives, the preparation of formal requests and the use of the media to raise awareness of the situation.
