Es por eso, que evidenciamos la crisis carcelaria representada en el hacinamiento de la cárcel “La Modelo” de Bogotá, creada para 2909 internos y que hoy alberga a más de 7000. El hacinamiento en este centro penitenciario a generado la vulneración de los Derechos Humanos de los reclusos, que según la ley, solo deben perder el derechos a la libre locomoción, pero debido a las condiciones deplorables en las que se encuentran las cárceles de nuestro país, viven escenarios del insalubridad y de violación de sus derechos institucionales. Pero, el aspecto al que más le hicimos relevancia, es el padecimiento al que son sometidos los familiares de los internos al momento de visitarlo en la cárcel y la “tortura” a la que se someten sin haber cometido ningún delito. Es por eso, que la esta investigación muestra el relato de aquellas personas, que por tener a un familiar presa, también sufren su propia condena.This research arose two years ago due to the need to make a problem visible, which although it is getting worse every day, does not have the media resonance that it should have. That is why we demonstrate the prison crisis represented in the overcrowding of the “La Modelo” prison in Bogotá, created for 2909 inmates and that today houses more than 7000. The overcrowding in this penitentiary center has generated the violation of the Human Rights of the inmates, who according to the law, should only lose the rights to free movement, but due to the deplorable conditions in which the prisons of our country are, they live scenarios of unhealthiness and violation of their institutional rights. But, the aspect to which we made the most relevance, is the suffering to which the relatives of the inmates are subjected at the time of visiting him in prison and the "torture" to which they are subjected without having committed any crime.
