Sin embargo, se hace necesario unir esfuerzos para lograr transformar ideas o imaginarios sociales relacionados con la situación de discapacidad de las personas, y lograr una completa inclusión social en todos los aspectos que integran su vida. Para lograr su reconocimiento integral se hace necesario conocer los principios de la convención sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad creados en las Naciones Unidas -CDPD- (2011), a fin de que la acción pública reconozca a toda esta población como sujetos de derechos y deberes, a la vez, que genera mecanismos de participación plena. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de este artículo es analizar las posibles barreras comunicativas entre instituciones y población en situación de discapacidad, que desfavorecen y limitan el desarrollo en la accesibilidad en los espacios urbanos de la ciudad de Bogotá.For the population with disabilities in Colombia, progress has been made to guarantee the enjoyment of their rights. However, it is necessary to unite efforts to transform social ideas or imaginaries regarding the situation of people's disability, and thus achieve a complete inclusion of this population in all aspects that make up their life. In order to achieve its integral recognition it is necessary to know the principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities created in the United Nations -CDPD- in 2011, so that public action recognizes all this population as subjects of rights and duties, at the same time, that generates mechanisms of full participation.
