A pesar de todo, éstas transformaciones traen consecuencias indeseables, que se escapan de lo fácilmente previsible. El ejemplo lo vemos en cuanto el ser humano decide asentarse en el territorio formando centros poblados de los cuales algunos prosperaron y crecieron desbordadamente y otros aunque no se marchitaron, se mantuvieron casi estáticos en el tiempo, como es el caso del centro poblado de Guane, ubicado en el municipio de Barichara en el departamento de Santander encontrándose en medio de un contexto rural que está experimentando un giro en sus principales actividades económicas, debido a la disminución de la población, la problemática medioambiental, la falta de planificación y la existencia de bienes de interés cultural, los cuales son aprovechados para atraer el turismo. Estas circunstancias afectan por supuesto a las personas que habitan el centro poblado y a los equipamientos institucionales con los que cuenta. Los equipamientos de Guane son el objeto de esta investigación, debido a que éstos han tenido que adaptarse a estas transformaciones del territorio. El estudio de estos equipamientos se realiza teniendo en cuenta el contexto en el que se localizan, la valoración estética, técnica y funcional para determinar su idoneidad y finalmente generando recomendaciones que permitan el mejoramiento de éstos.As the human being evolves, it consolidates its culture and its way of seeing the territory and taking advantage of it, transforming it to meet its needs. In spite of everything, these transformations bring undesirable consequences, which escape the easily predictable. The example we see as soon as the human being decides to settle in the territory forming populated centers of which some prospered and grew overflowing and others although they did not wither, they remained almost static in time, as is the case of the populated center of Guane, located in the municipality of Barichara in the department of Santander, being in the middle of a rural context that is experiencing a turn in its main economic activities, due to population decline, environmental problems, lack of planning and the existence of goods of cultural interest, which are used to attract tourism. These circumstances affect, of course, the people who inhabit the populated center and the institutional facilities it has. The equipment of Guane is the object of this investigation, because they have had to adapt to these transformations of the territory.
