Repositoriohttp://hdl.handle.net/11634/52122El grupo de investigación Geoamenazas e ingeniería civil se encarga de incentivar a los estudiantes a convertirse en miembros activos de la comunidad científica, para que desarrollen trabajos de investigación con temáticas de ingeniería civil que tienen como objetivo contribuir con el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida, la prevención de desastres de origen natural y la optimización del uso del territorio en el piedemonte llanero. Durante la pasantía, el estudiante, autor del presente informe, participó en un evento de divulgación de conocimientos llamado “Expoingeniería 2022”, el cual tuvo lugar en el auditorio 3 de la Universidad Santo Tomás teniendo el rol de maestro de ceremonias. Por otro lado, fue investigador auxiliar del proyecto “Apropiación social para la gestión del agua: Vereda San Juan Bosco, Sector II”, el cual se encargó de realizar un estudio de caracterización del agua de los habitantes del sector y proponer alternativas en la gestión del agua para brindar mejoras en la sanidad de la vereda. Finalmente, el estudiante tomó el cargo de monitor y asistente durante las clases del docente German Chicangana, el cual impartía sus lecciones mediadas por tecnología, donde se encargó de tomar la asistencia de los estudiantes. El pasante obtuvo conocimientos de desarrollo de proyectos de ingeniería civil con énfasis en problemas de gestión de agua potable y sanitaria, realización de eventos de divulgación de conocimiento científico dentro de la comunidad académica de la Universidad Santo Tomás y labores de docencia y uso de recursos tecnológicos para la enseñanza que enriquecieron su formación profesional como ingeniero civil investigador. Como conclusión, se recomienda al tutor realizar una mayor cantidad de reuniones semanales en donde se asignen tareas suplementarias a otras que ya estén completadas. A futuros pasantes se recomienda el uso de material didáctico alojado en internet para complementar su formación en software especializado en ingeniería y el fortalecimiento de habilidades comunicativas.The research group 'Geoamenazas e Ingeniería Civil' is responsible for encouraging students to become active members of the scientific community, to develop research work with civil engineering topics that aim to contribute to improving the quality of life, the prevention of natural disasters and the optimization of land use in the piedmont of the plains. During the internship, the student, author of this report, participated in a knowledge dissemination event called "Expoingeniería 2022", which took place in auditorium 3 of the Universidad Santo Tomás in the role of master of ceremonies. On the other hand, he was assistant researcher of the project "Social appropriation for water management: San Juan Bosco Village, Sector II", which was responsible for conducting a study of water characterization of the inhabitants of the sector and propose alternatives in water management to provide improvements in the sanitation of the village. Finally, the student took the position of monitor and assistant during the classes of the teacher German Chicangana, who gave his lessons mediated by technology, where he was in charge of taking the assistance of the students. The intern gained knowledge in the development of civil engineering projects with emphasis on drinking and sanitary water management problems, the realization of scientific knowledge dissemination events within the academic community of the Universidad Santo Tomás and teaching work and the use of technological resources for teaching, which enriched his professional training as a civil engineering researcher. As a conclusion, it is recommended to the tutor to hold a greater number of weekly meetings where supplementary tasks are assigned to others that are already completed.
