El continente Americano lleva consigo una historia mestiza, pues a través del tiempo compaginaron variedad de culturas, que constituyeron lo humano, y a cada uno de nosotros, se hace necesario pensar nuestra propia historia, dejando de lado los parámetros occidentales.Se evidencia la influencia que tuvo en ella el pensamiento del filósofo Martin Heidegger,de quien rescató el salto hacia el otro comienzo del pensar para aplicarlo en América Latina, en búsqueda de una verdadera identidad.The purpose of the following essay was to present the fundamental concepts that comprise the thought of the philosopher Dina Picotti on Ontology in Latin America, being her writings a contribution to the studies that are being carried out in Latin American Philosophy. The American continent has a mixed history, because throughout time a variety of cultures have combined to form the human being, and each one of us needs to think about our own history, leaving aside Western parameters.
