El tipo de estudio es cuantitativo con selección de población por conveniencia, con tamaño de muestra de 200 estudiantes mayores de edad que se evaluaron por encuesta probabilística mediante el Cuestionario Global de Actividad Física (GPAQ). Se utilizó el programa de Excel para la tabulación de los datos y el software estadístico STATA para evaluar la actividad física y posesión de vehículo. No se encontró una relación significativa entre poseer vehículo a motor y los niveles de A.F. Se encontró una relación significativa de la posesión de vehículo a motor con la A.F en los desplazamientosThe objective of this study was to analyze physical activity and its relationship with motor vehicle ownership among students at the Universidad Santo Tomás, Bucaramanga (USTA), Colombia. The study was quantitative, with convenience selection, and a sample size of 200 adult students. The students were evaluated by probabilistic survey using the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Excel was used to tabulate the data, and STATA was used to assess physical activity and vehicle ownership. No significant relationship was found between motor vehicle ownership and PA levels.
