Se propone un proyecto transversal que integra elementos de la estadística, la geometría, la geografía y la ciudadanía. Con estudiantes de grado cuarto y quinto se construye un censo al interior de la institución educativa Colegio Universal de la Ciencia ubicado en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, que busca responder a preguntas que permitan a los estudiantes conocer mejor el entorno de su institución a nivel de sus compañeros de colegio. En este proyecto los niños reconocen su entorno, se ubican espacialmente en su contexto socio cultural desde una actividad participativa de recolección, agrupación, presentación, análisis e interpretación de datos. Construyen el conocimiento relacionado con la representación de la información y en un intercambio de ideas se escuchan, se responden, formulan preguntas e investigan a su propio ritmo. A transversal project is proposed that integrates elements of statistics, geometry, geography and citizenship. Fourth and fifth grade students build a census within the Universal College of Science educational institution located in the city of Bucaramanga, which seeks to answer questions that allow students to better understand the environment of their institution at the level of their Schoolmates. In this project children recognize their environment, they are located spatially in their socio-cultural context from a participatory activity of collection, grouping, presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. They build knowledge related to the representation of information and in an exchange of ideas they listen to each other, they respond, they ask questions and they investigate at their own pace.
