En diversos foros mundiales1 se plantearon los aspectos relacionados con el derecho a la ciudad en condiciones de ambiente sano, equidad y justicia social, teniendo en cuenta el acceso al espacio público, el desarrollo urbano sustentable y equitativo, la convivencia y seguridad, la asociación y participación decisoria, la transparencia e información, y el derecho al trabajo y respaldo económico.
