Bucaramanga, Colombia978-958-5188-60-0http://hdl.handle.net/11634/50891Este libro presenta los resultados del proyecto de investigación “Diversidad religiosa y arquitectura en Colombia”, realizado por los grupos de investigación “Sagrado y Profano” (UIS) y Ginvearqui (USTA), con el apoyo financiero de la Vicerrectoría de Investigación y Extensión de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, la Unidad de Investigación e Información y la Oficina de Dirección de Relaciones Internacionales - DRI- de la Universidad Santo Tomás, Bucaramanga. Hace un análisis socio-arquitectónico a 15 lugares de culto representativos de grupos religiosos significativos en Colombia. Se analizan variables que interrelacionan el espacio sagrado con las representaciones y expresiones religiosas. Se busca responder a preguntas, tales como: .Cuál es la configuración de los espacios encargados de acoger las diversas prácticas religiosas?; .cómo se sacraliza el espacio?; .qué elementos físicos o fenomenológicos caracterizan esos espacios y se encargan o no de aportar cargas simbólicas al objeto arquitectónico?; .cuál es la relación existente entre corrientes interreligiosas y el diseno y uso de estos espacios?; .en qué medida los espacios sagrados influyen en el entorno? La respuesta a estas preguntas nos llevó a comprender la estrecha relación existente, en la mayor parte de los casos, entre práctica o ritual y arquitectura o espacio y todo ello, en relación con el entorno.This book presents the results of the research project "Religious diversity and architecture in Colombia", carried out by the research groups "Sagrado y Profano" (UIS) and Ginvearqui (USTA), with financial support from the Vice-Rectory for Research and Extension of the Industrial University of Santander, the Research and Information Unit and the International Relations Management Office - DRI- of the Santo Tomás University, Bucaramanga. He makes a socio-architectural analysis of 15 places of worship representative of significant religious groups in Colombia. Variables that interrelate the sacred space with religious representations and expressions are analyzed. It seeks to answer questions such as: What is the configuration of the spaces responsible for hosting the various religious practices?; .how is space sacralized?; What physical or phenomenological elements characterize these spaces and are in charge or not of providing symbolic charges to the architectural object?; What is the relationship between interreligious currents and the design and use of these spaces?; .to what extent do sacred spaces influence the environment?
