Repositorio institucional USTAhttp://hdl.handle.net/11634/28966El tema de esta monografía es el Turismo de Naturaleza en Colombia, en donde se inicia con la definición de este concepto, el contexto en el que se desarrolla, la normatividad y las diferentes limitantes o barreras a las que se enfrentan los diferentes municipios que contienen destinos turísticos en Colombia; además, se abarca el crecimiento y desarrollo que ha tenido esta actividad durante los últimos 10 años. Por otro lado, se realiza un análisis adicional en donde se determinan ¿por qué los municipios con potencial de Turismo de Naturaleza, no han obtenido la certificación de Turismo Sostenible?, certificado que garantiza estándares de sostenibilidad y calidad turística sin generar daños e impactos en los recursos naturales, y que además, benefician a las empresas al dar un reconocimiento a nivel nacional e internacional, que a largo plazo está representado en crecimiento económico. También se resalta la importancia de los prestadores de servicios turísticos, determinando si la evolución de este sector impacta o no la obtención de la certificación de los municipios, y su acondicionamiento a la legislación vigente del Turismo de Naturaleza. Por último, se relacionan algunas estrategias basadas desde los siguientes enfoques: ambiental, social y económico, con el propósito de crear planes de acción y programas que impulsen y promuevan el Turismo Sostenible, y que, a su vez, las estrategias están encaminadas a la obtención del certificado de Turismo Sostenible.The theme of this monograph is Nature Tourism in Colombia, where it begins with the definition of this concept, the context in which it is developed, the regulations and the different limitations or barriers faced by the different municipalities that contain tourist destinations in Colombia; In addition, it covers the growth and development that this activity has had during the last 10 years. On the other hand, an additional analysis is carried out where they determine why the municipalities with potential for Nature Tourism have not obtained the certification of Sustainable Tourism?, certificate that guarantees sustainability standards and tourism quality without generating damage and impacts in Natural resources, and which also benefit companies by giving recognition at national and international level, which in the long term is represented in economic growth. The importance of tourism service providers is also highlighted, determining whether the evolution of this sector impacts or not obtaining the certification of municipalities, and their conditioning to the current legislation of Nature Tourism.
