Es por esto que se ha optado por usar el periodismo literario como herramienta para reducir la distancia entre los especialistas que entienden fácilmente el lenguaje técnico y científico de la problemática y los lectores que, a pesar de ser parte fundamental para la posible solución de la problemática, aún no son conscientes de ella y necesitan entenderla de manera concreta para aportar desde su lugar. En este trabajo el tema central son las problemáticas que rodean al Lago de Tota. El producto final refleja los problemas ambientales, sociales y culturales que el ecosistema enfrenta, esto a través de elementos narrativos que mejoran la experiencia del lector.This research seeks to expose an environmental problem, in a simple and entertaining way for the reader. That’s the reason we have chosen to use literary journalism as a tool to reduce the distance between specialists, who easily understand the technical and scientific language of the problematic, and readers, who despite being a fundamental part for the possible solution of the problem are not yet aware of it and need to understand it in a concrete way to contribute from their place. In this work the central topic will be the problems surrounding Lago de Tota.
