Colombia.http://hdl.handle.net/11634/51027Este proyecto de investigación se centra en la resignificación de un ambiente bilingüe de aprendizaje con una metodología híbrida dirigida a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del inglés como lengua extranjera en una institución de educación superior, por consiguiente el objetivo principal es abordar los desafíos educativos del siglo XXI desde el eje de Ambientes de Aprendizaje y proporcionar recomendaciones clave para lograr una implementación efectiva y fortalecer dicho ambiente. La investigación adoptó un enfoque cualitativo, mediante un estudio de intervención con una intencionalidad pedagógica e investigativa de orden exploratorio puesto que fue un diseño que partió de unas necesidades y problemática identificadas en contexto. Los hallazgos de este estudio contribuyen a los esfuerzos en curso para alinear la educación de una lengua extranjera con los retos emergentes de la sociedad actual buscando transformar esta realidad a nivel micro, meso y macro, potenciando así el desarrollo de habilidades del siglo XXI con miras a un aprendizaje significativo.This research project focuses on the re-signification of a bilingual learning environment with a hybrid methodology oriented to the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language in a higher education institution, therefore the main objective is to address the educational challenges of the 21st century from the Learning Environments axis and provide key recommendations to achieve an effective implementation and strengthen such an environment. The research adopted a qualitative approach, through an intervention study with a pedagogical and exploratory research intention, as it is a design based on needs and problems identified in context.
