En una fase inicial, se llevó a cabo un análisis para comprender la necesidad en la empresa de migrar hacia esta tecnología, considerando tanto la eficiencia de red como la mejora de la experiencia del usuario. Posteriormente, se efectuó un análisis de los beneficios que surgirían a partir de la implementación de Fiber to the Room (FTTR). Este análisis abordó los equipos de red que se utilizarían en la implementación, así como la topología de red que se emplearía, destacando elementos clave para el despliegue efectivo de Fiber to the Room (FTTR). En última instancia, se lleva a cabo una evaluación de la implementación de Fiber to the Room (FTTR) con el propósito de analizar las mejoras en los indicadores de desempeño. Este análisis no solo valida la eficacia de la red, sino que también proporciona datos tangibles sobre el impacto positivo en el rendimiento de la red.The purpose of this project is to highlight the fundamental differences between Fiber to the Room (FTTR) technology and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) implementations. In an initial phase, an analysis was conducted to understand the company's need to migrate to this technology, considering both network efficiency and the improvement of the user experience. Subsequently, an analysis of the benefits arising from the implementation of Fiber to the Room (FTTR) was carried out. This analysis addressed the network equipment to be used in the implementation, as well as the network topology that would be employed, emphasizing key 5 elements for the effective deployment of Fiber to the Room (FTTR). In the final stage, an evaluation of the implementation of Fiber to the Room (FTTR) is conducted with the purpose of analyzing improvements in performance indicators.
