Universidad Santo Tomás, Bucaramanga, Colombiahttp://hdl.handle.net/11634/30883El desarrollo de esta investigación aborda, examina y estudia teorías en materia de ruralidad, con el fin de desarrollar una propuesta que ayude a una posible solución a la desterritorialización en los entornos rurales periféricos a las urbes, promoviendo intervenciones que estén a la vanguardia de nuevos conceptos teóricos tales como “nueva ruralidad y ecoaldeas”, siendo estas propuestas las que le apuestan a encontrar medidas coherentes de articulación entre lo rural y lo urbano, ya que estas teorías intentan detener los modos en que lo urbano se sobrepone a lo rural, y desde esa misma visón, agregar una dimensión verde libre del bullicio de las ciudades urbanizadas, marcando las diferencias y finalmente estas aumenten la diversidad y el dinamismo de los territorios. Para ello se realizó un estado del arte en estas temáticas y una propuesta elaborada puntualmente en una zona suburbana periférica a la ciudad de Piedecuesta en el Valle del Guatiguará. El análisis de las teorías inmersas en los documentos del estado del arte dieron cabida a generar una propuesta tipo esquema que permite vislumbrar una posible solución a esta inminente crisis territorial.The development of this research addresses, examines and studies those theories in the field of rurality, in order to show a proposal that helps and shows a possible solution to the deterritorialization of rural environments peripheral to cities, promoting interventions that are at the forefront of new theoretical concepts such as “new rurality and ecovillages”, being these proposals the ones that bet on the emergency of finding coherent measures of articulation between the rural and the urban, since these specifically try to stop the ways in which the urban overlaps to the rural, and from that same vision, add a green dimension free from the bustling of urbanized cities, marking the differences and finally these increase the diversity and dynamism of the territories. To do this, a state of the art was carried out on these themes and a proposal was prepared on time in a suburban area peripheral to the city of Piedecuesta in the Guatiguará Valley.
