Repositorio Institucional.http://hdl.handle.net/11634/54577A través de la historia se ha evidenciado como las ciudades crecen al ritmo del crecimiento de la población, ocupando cada vez más el espacio donde habitan, motivo por el cual se hace necesario efectuar procesos de ordenamiento del suelo, para planear la manera de cómo aprovechar el territorio, buscando con ello evitar que las dinámicas sociales, económicas y culturales entren en conflicto y se generen los efectos de la conurbación, es decir que se ocupe el territorio sin respetar usos y fronteras entre las ciudades. En el siguiente trabajo se abordará una investigación que busca encontrar las principales atenuantes que han permitido la conurbación en el municipio de Chía y en el municipio de Cajicá, para ello se tendrá en cuenta la normativa vigente en cada municipio y como se ha planteado su crecimiento territorial, buscando con ello encontrar alternativas que permitan realizar recomendaciones que contribuyan a mitigar las problemáticas presentadas por el efecto de la conurbaciónThroughout history, it has been evident how cities grow at the rate of population growth, occupying more and more territory, which is why it is necessary to carry out territorial planning processes, to plan how to take advantage of the territory, seeking thereby preventing social, economic and cultural dynamics from entering into conflict and generating the effects of conurbation, that is, occupying the territory without respecting uses and borders between cities.
