Repositorio Institucional.http://hdl.handle.net/11634/57584Esta investigación tuvo por objetivo general analizar de qué manera influye la enseñanza de las ciencias naturales sobre la biodiversidad y el ecosistema urbano donde viven o actúan los estudiantes del grado quinto de la I.E. San Juan Bautista de la Salle en el municipio de Sincé. Tomando como referencia los aportes realizados por diferentes investigadores y/o escritores sobre la biodiversidad urbana y el impacto de las ciencias naturales en la enseñanza de estas temáticas. La metodología abordada en esta investigación se centró en el paradigma cualitativo y se utilizó como técnica de recolección de información la encuesta, aplicada a tres grupos del grado quinto de la I. E. en mención, de estas puede observarse que los estudiantes muestran poco dominio de las temáticas abordadas en la encuesta, que no se apropian de los conceptos sobre biodiversidad ni la relación que este guarda con la asignatura de ciencias naturales. Con lo anterior, se hace evidente que, pese a que haya una buena enseñanza de las ciencias naturales sobre el tema indicado, los estudiantes no muestran interés por la asignatura, además, es importante que tanto el ente administrativo como el resto de los habitantes participe adecuadamente en este proceso.The general objective of this research was to analyze the influence of the teaching of natural sciences on biodiversity and the urban ecosystem where the fifth-grade students of the San Juan Bautista de la Salle School in the municipality of Sincé live or work. Taking as a reference the contributions made by different researchers and/or writers on urban biodiversity and the impact of natural sciences in the teaching of these topics. The methodology approached in this research was centered on the qualitative paradigm and the survey was used as a technique for collecting information, applied to three groups of the fifth grade of the school in question. From these it can be observed that the students show little mastery of the topics addressed in the survey, that they do not appropriate the concepts of biodiversity nor the relationship that this has with the subject of natural sciences.
