Por ende, el propósito de la investigación se basa en la identificación sobre si la integración del enfoque STEAM facilita una mayor comprensión y expresión de las emociones. Para esto, se establece una metodología con enfoque cualitativo de tipo aplicado con estudio exploratorio, orientado a las categorías, enfoque STEAM, estrategias didácticas innovadoras y desarrollo integral del estudiante. Así mismo, la población y muestra son estudiantes del grado 801 de la institución Educativa Juan Jacobo Aragón. Los instrumentos utilizados son el diagnóstico inicial, estrategia diseñada y evaluación por juez experto. Los resultados integran que los docentes consideran la integración del enfoque en su práctica laboral, pero cuentan con limitaciones de poca actualización y recursos limitados, en cambio los estudiantes, no conocen el enfoque y tienen poco reconocimiento sobre estrategias de expresión emocional. La evaluación por juez experto determino que la estrategia es coherente, pertinente y tiene viabilidad con ajustes mínimos. La implementación de las actividades con los estudiantes se logró hasta la segunda fase por limitaciones de tiempo, pero evidenciando el potencial para su efectividad si se aplicara completamente.Adolescents undergo biopsychological changes and during this period they experience intense emotions and challenges in their emotional regulation, affecting their well being. Therefore, the purpose of the research is based on the identification of whether the integration of the STEAM approach facilitates a greater understanding and expression of emotions. For this, an applied qualitative methodology is established with an exploratory study, oriented to the categories STEAM approach, innovative teaching strategies and student's integral development. Likewise, the population and sample are students from grade 801 of the Juan Jacobo Aragón Educational Institution. The instruments used were the initial diagnosis, the designed strategy and the evaluation by an expert judge. The results show that teachers consider the integration of the approach in their work practice, but have limitations of little updating and limited resources, while students do not know the approach and have little recognition of emotional expression strategies. The evaluation by the expert judge determined that the strategy is coherent, pertinent and has viability with minimal adjustments.
