Repositoriohttp://hdl.handle.net/11634/47352En este trabajo se encontraran los factores que degradan la calidad del agua y que se encuentran en las redes de distribución de agua potable como lo son los agentes químicos (cloruros, sulfatos nitratos y carbonatos). La cual por varios años los investigadores se han interesado en desarrollar metodologías para mejorar la calidad del agua en la red de abastecimiento mediante la simulación de parámetros de calidad. El objetivo es realizar la evaluación del comportamiento y calidad del agua de un sistema de redes de distribución en el municipio del Castillo departamento del Meta, se trabajó por medio de un software llamado EPANET, el cual registró cloro residual libre en toda la red y se realizó el cálculo de las características hidráulicas del sistema como lo son el caudal, la presión y la velocidad en todos los elementos del sistemas, evaluando de esta forma el comportamiento de cloro residual en cada uno de los componentes de la red, el modelo hidráulico y el modelo de calidad el cual se realizó a través de cálculos manuales y el uso de EPANET lo cual demuestran que este tipo de modelo es una herramienta valiosa para monitorear la calidad del agua en cada punto de la red de distribución.In this project will be find the factors that degrade water quality are found in drinking water distribution networks like the chemical agents (chlorides, sulfates, nitrates and carbonates). Which for several years researchers have been interested in developing methodologies to improve the quality of water in the supply network by simulating quality parameters.
