The Panama Canal is a historical landmark of engineering, which handles a little more than 5% of the world's maritime commerce. 5% of the world's maritime commerce, being a strategic resource for the commerce of the world, as well as for the Panamanian the world, as well as for the Panamanian population. It is also important to mention that several environmental challenges have been faced, such as water scarcity, also in relation to social issues such as social inequality, displacement of populations, and economic and economic issues such as unemployment.

Un modelo de Áreas Pequeñas para la Estimación del Promedio de Costos de Compra y Arrendamiento de Vivienda en Cada Unidad de Planeación Zonal de Bogotá

This research presents the estimates of the average costs of purchasing and renting housing in each Zonal Planning Unit of Bogota through the estimation in small areas, as well as data from the Multipurpose Survey 2021. It was estimated that the UPZs with the highest average cost are the Chapinero cluster: Chico Lago and El Refugio, Usaquén: Country Club and Santa Barbara and Usaquén. Additionally, the results are in line with the city's real estate structure in that the city's most prominent zones in the real estate sector are geographically consistent with those with the highest average.

This research project focused on strengthening reading and writing skills in first grade students, at the Avelino Saldarriaga Educational Institution, in the municipality of Itagüí. Through a qualitative approach, through the participatory action research methodology, a methodology that integrates knowledge and action. Colmenares, A. M. (2012). Therefore, a didactic primer was designed and applied that incorporated technological resources and innovative pedagogical activities. The preliminary results indicate that this intervention made it possible to identify and address the specific difficulties that students face in this reading-writing process, which is why the implementation of the primer, as a teaching resource in combination with ICT, proved to be a promising strategy for improve the participation of first grade students, the quality of teaching and learning, by promoting interactivity, collaboration and the diversification of traditional methodologies. This study contributes to the field of primary education by offering a practical and effective proposal to strengthen reading-writing skills in first grade students at the Avelino Saldarriaga Educational Institution.

El Bogotazo: Reescritura de la Memoria

This article reflects upon the findings of the research titled El Bogotazo como reescritura discontinua de la memoria [El Bogotazo as a discontinuous rewriting of memory]. This work involves an archival exploration of documents related to the events of April 9, 1948, in Bogotá, with the main purpose of fictionally reconstructing the memory of some victims of El Bogotazo. This reconstruction, following the method suggested by Michel Foucault in The archaeology of knowledge, relies on the interpretation of an approximate list of registered deceased, providing a concrete context that enables the reconstruction of individual stories in the narrative fabric. The critical perspective of Santiago Castro-Gómez, renowned for his genealogical analysis of power relations and discourses in Latin America, is crucial in understanding how these relations are articulated in the construction of historical memory. Furthermore, elements of Gabriel García Márquez’s work titled Vivir para contarla are incorporated into the reflection on the victims, enriching the fictional recreation process and expanding the possibilities of understanding and representing El Bogotazo.
