| dc.description | This article intends to demonstrate the several ways of involvement that Santafé’s rabble had against the power excessess of the colonial system. Historiography has placed as starting point of the independence process a historical fact like the one ocurred on July 20th 1810. It has also pointed out the involvement of the criollos elite as sole agent in that process. This article invites to relect on other subjects, who were also agents in the process of independence and from many years back. A series of case studies is exposed. These are part of a more complex empiric research, to support this relection on the involvement of Santafe’s rabble at the dawn of Independency. | en |
| dc.description | Por medio de este artículo se quieren mostrar las distintas formas de participación que tuvo la plebe en Santafé frente a los abusos de poder del sistema colonial. La historiografía ha ubicado como punto de partida del proceso de independencia un hecho histórico como fue el ocurrido el 20 de julio de 1810, y además ha señalado la participación de la élite criolla como único agente en dicho proceso. Con este escrito se invita a relexionar sobre otros sujetos, quienes también agenciaron el proceso de independencia y desde muchos años atrás. Se exponen una serie de estudios de caso, que hacen parte de una investigación empírica más compleja, para sustentar dicha relexión sobre la participación de la plebe santafereña en los albores de la Independencia. | es |
