dc.descriptionEste texto explora las relaciones tensas e incómodas entre vanguardia y tradición, pasado y contemporaneidad, de la segunda generación señalada por Tafuri, tomando como pretexto una película del director francés Jacques Tati. La filmografía de Tati se destacó por la vinculación directa de los escenarios arquitectónicos en la definición de las caracterizaciones de sus personajes. Tati como director y como protagonista de sus propios filmes en la figura anacrónica de monsieur Hulot, aborda una crítica visual mordaz de lavida moderna de la posguerra escenificada en sus edificaciones, correspondientes con las instancias segmentadas por la mecanización del trabajo: la fábrica, la escuela, elbarrio y, por supuesto, la casa.ABSTRACTThis text explores the tense and unconfortable relation between vanguard and tradition, past time and contemporaneity, during the second generation mentioned by Tafuri, taking as a pretext a film by Jacques Tati, a French Director. Tati’s cinematography emphasizes the direct vinculation with architectural sceneries when he defines the characterization of his personages. Tati himself, director and protagonist of his own films, in the anacronic figure of monsieur Hulot presents a sarcastic visual criticism of modern life after the war, showing the constructions corresponding to the segmented facts caused by the mechanization of work: the factory, the school, the suburbs and, of course, the house.es-ES
